Chat Interfaces for Stress Reduction in Family Care and Childcare

This project explores chat interfaces to reduce stress in family care and childcare. In particular, it investigates design elements that encourage the disclosure of stress that is difficult to share with family members and provide emotional support. The effectiveness is evaluated through medium- to long-term user studies in real usage situations.

Chat Interfaces for Stress Reduction in Family Care and Childcare
Overview

This research proposes a mechanism that allows people to easily disclose stress experienced in family care and childcare through chat interfaces. It examines designs that enable users to anonymously express concerns and stress that are difficult to discuss directly with family, and to receive emotional support from AI or others. Medium- to long-term user studies are conducted with actual users to evaluate changes in stress reduction and psychological burden.
